There I was this morning updating fields on the management system at work (an exercise in frustration, as updating two simple fields requires going through numerous views to get to the edit button- grrr!), filling in missing data from some customer satisfaction surveys at work, when one of the customer comments in particular set me off giggling, and I just couldn’t stop. The others in the office looked at me as though I’d grown two heads, and with my explanation of just what I found so funny I could tell from the looks on their faces that they’d got me pegged as some kind of pervert. They might very well be right.

The source of this hilarity? A comment from a little old lady about the work she’d had done on modernising her bathroom…

I was satisfied by all of the workmen.

On the next page of the questionnaire she followed that up with:

None of the workmen used protection, and now my carpet’s ruined!

By that point I was laughing so hard there were tears running down my face, and the more I tried to stop laughing and get on with some work, the funnier it seemed.

Either we’ve got some damned randy old folk around here, or I really need to stop reading racy stuff over on LiveJournal!

Well I’ve always liked to think that I am useful in some small way (my mother always says she’ll find a use for me one of these days ), and so when I one of my forum members posted a link to what looks like an interesting waste of a few minutes, I just had to give it a try.

My maternal great grandfather donated himself to medical science (I guess it was a cheaper option than a funeral in those days), so I thought with a couple of rare-ish medical conditions, it would be interesting to find out how much my body might be worth to medical science…Cadaver Calculator: Find out how much your body is worth

$5140.00The Cadaver Calculator – Find out how much your body is worth.

$5140! The only question that remains now is whether I should cash it in now, or wait to see if it goes up with inflation?
